Our intermediate Street Photography course is aimed at those who already have basic experience in street photography and want to start thinking about creating a story through images.
In this unprecedented journey, we will help you think in terms of photographic series, moving away from the paradigm of single photos, thus helping you take the inevitable step of telling stories through street photography.
The instructor for this course is Valeria Tofanelli, one of the most highly regarded international authors of street photography, and author of, among other works, the book Mareterno, published by Eyeshot in collaboration with Lorenzo Catena.
This activity consists of seven 2-hour theory lessons (both in person and online) and three practical outings that will lead participants to create a photographic series that will be exhibited in our photo gallery in Pigneto.
Valeria Tofanelli is a Roman photographer whose work explores the relationship between humans and the environment through the narration of everyday life. Her approach moves between documentation and visual suggestion, combining reality and representation to evoke different perceptions of reality.
Her photographic work has been exhibited both in Italy and abroad and has been published in books, magazines, and online articles.
Since 2022, he has been teaching at the Daylight School and is a member of the international collective Burn My Eye.
