Our intermediate Street Photography course is aimed at those who already have basic experience in street photography and want to start thinking about creating a story through images.
In this unprecedented journey, we will help you think in terms of photographic series, moving away from the paradigm of single photos, thus helping you take the inevitable step of telling stories through street photography.
The instructor for this courseis Valeria Tofanelli, one of the most acclaimed street photographers on the international scene and the author, among other works, of the book *Mareterno*, published by Eyeshot in collaboration with Lorenzo Catena.
This course consistsof 7 two-hour theory sessions (both in-person and online) and 3 field trips, during whichparticipants will create a photo series that will be exhibited in our Pigneto photo gallery.
Valeria Tofanelli isa Roman photographer whose work explores the relationship between humans and the environment through the narrative of everyday life. Her approach straddles the line between documentation and visual suggestion, combining reality and representation to evoke different perceptions of reality.
Her photographic work has been exhibited both in Italy and abroad and has been published in books, magazines, and online articles.
Since 2022, he has been teaching at the Daylight School and is a member of the international collective Burn My Eye.
