BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE IN ROME

In ourbasic photography course in Romeyou will learn how to use a camera through a training program that will guide you in discovering the theory, technique, and some of the most important photographers in the history of photography, in classes with a maximum of 7 participants.

The dates of the outdoor photo sessions are decided together with the participants and take place at the weekend.

COURSE SCHEDULE:7:00–8:45 p.m.

CLASS SCHEDULE:Monday/Thursday (These are two different classes)

8 in-person classeswith the option to follow along online (classes are recorded) and make up any missed classes.

Our Basic Photography Courseis open to beginners or anyone who wants to “brush up” on their technical skills through the simple learning methods we provide in our classes.

We will explore the history of photography, its composition, the three settings that determine lighting (ISO/shutter speed/aperture),motion,depth of field,lenses,focal length equivalents,framing,digital formats,white balance,cropping, andmuch more, with a focus on great photographers, both contemporary and from the past.

Ours is acomprehensive program withongoing support; through our WhatsApp group, you’ll have the freedom to ask our instructors any questions in an environment of constant dialogue.

*It is not strictly necessary to own a camera to participate.*

Marco Sconocchiaisa professional photographer based in Rome and London.

His works have been published in various national and international newspapers and magazines, such as:

The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun, The Daily Mirror, Venerdì di La Repubblica, Sette, Vice, National Geographic, 6 Mois, and others.

He has also worked on the editorial staff of Vice UK and is the co-founderof Daylight School alongsidePerry Hall.
