In this workshop, accompanied by photographer Marco Sconocchia, you will learn to manage the multiple factors that allow you to produce good street photographs in the setting of the historic city center, an amazing way to transform your walk through street photography.
In this unique activity, we combine photography and discovery of the city and its streets, away from the usual clichés, in an experience created by people who experience the city and all its nuances.
What is street photography:
“Street photography is a genre of photography that captures everyday life and public spaces in an unposed and spontaneous way. It often focuses on people, their interactions, and the urban environment, highlighting candid moments and the essence of a city’s culture and atmosphere.”
How does the activity work?
The meeting point is at Colosseum tube station. After enjoying a proper Italian coffee in a traditional coffee shop and a bit of socializing, we start talking about the camera.
Then, it’s time to hit the streets with Marco, exploring this historical neighborhood through the traditional part of it. You’ll dive into an unforgettable experience among the locals, discovering a Rome that’s off the beaten path.

WHO IS MARCO SCONOCCHIA:
Marco Sconocchia is a professional photographer based between Rome and London.
La sua produzione fotografica è iniziata nel 2014, quando ha iniziato a collaborare con il TPI come corrispondente da Londra.
Nel corso degli anni ha collaborato con diversi quotidiani e riviste nazionali e internazionali, tra cui The Guardian, La Repubblica, 6 mois, El Pais, La Stampa, Nat Geo, The Sun, The Independent e molti altri.
Nel 2017-2018 è stato fotografo ufficiale per Vice UK.
