From photojournalism to social documentation:
Born in Turin in 1988 and educated at the Franco Balbis Institute, Marco has always approached the image from a perspective far removed from pure academic aesthetics, seeking out its raw, documentary-style elements.
In 2011, he moved to London, where he began a long-term documentary project focusedon the British working classand the complex urban dynamics of the metropolis. Between 2017 and 2018, he refined his narrative vision while workingas a staff photographer forVice UK. After years of international experience, he returned to Italy, making Rome his base of operations.

His reports have appeared regularly in the most prestigious Italian and international publications, including *The Guardian*,*The Sun*, *The Independent*, *6 Mois*,*National Geographic*,*La Repubblica*(including *Il Venerdì*),*La Stampa*,*El País*, and other publications.
